External data sources

eazyBI for Jira is a general-purpose Business Intelligence tool. You may analyze and visualize data from Jira and Jira apps as well as from most popular SQL databases, REST API data sources, Google Sheets, Excel, and CSV files. It means that besides eazyBI accounts with data from Jira, you can create a separate account solely for data from an external source. 

Because the data structure and content for these data sources is unknown, the first time you import data from these sources, you'll need to map data fields to corresponding measures and dimensions. This has to be done only once – if the data structure remains the same, eazyBI will automatically update the data based on the configured data update frequency.
