What is an eazyBI account?
One eazyBI account contains a set of data that can be analyzed by one or many account users. At any given time, you can work with one selected current account [1]. You can select a current account either from the Home tab [2] or from the account selection drop-down in the top-right header menu [3].
Who can create an account
To create an eazyBI account you must be:
- an eazyBI admin or Jira System administrator on Jira Data Center,
- a Product admin or Organization admin in Jira Cloud.
A user who creates the account is the default Owner of the account. We recommend changing the Owner of the account to a user who will be responsible for the data and user administration in that account. Account users with an Owner or User admin role can set another account user as the new Owner of this account.
Who can access reports on the account
Access to the eazyBI account is managed in each eazyBI account separately. Jira users or user groups must be added to each account as users in order to access reports and dashboards.
The only exceptions are eazyBI admins and Jira System administrators for Jira Data Center, or Product admins and Organization admins for Jira Cloud who can access all accounts and reports even without having a dedicated user role.
You can restrict user access to folders, dashboards, and data by using Data access roles.
One user can have different roles in different eazyBI accounts.
