Atlassian Data Center End of Life
On September 8, 2025 Atlassian announced the timeline for Data Center end-of-life (EOL).
- By March 2029, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo Data Center (DC) environments will reach full EOL and transition to read-only mode.
- No new licenses after March 2026, and no renewals for existing customers after March 2028.
eazyBI for Jira on Data Center will remain fully functional and up-to-date on Data Center until our last customer. Your can read our commitment.
General Licensing Info
- If you're using Jira Data Center, you should install the Data Center version of the app.
- eazyBI for Jira Data Center licenses are sold via Atlassian Marketplace and follow Atlassian licensing and pricing guidelines.
- eazyBI for Data Center license is sold as a terminated license for a year (Data Center Licensing and Pricing). The license has to be renewed every year at the full price.
- Regardless if a customer uses a clustered or a single-node Jira Data Center, customers are billed based on their application license (user-tier).
- Data Center licenses are based on a user-tier matching the number of Jira users (not eazyBI users). For example, if a customer has 1200 Jira users, he'll need a 2000-user eazyBI for Jira Data Center license (Same user-tier as Jira DC).
- Price changes: If the pricing changes, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.
- Older Server Licenses: eazyBI for Jira Server app licenses with a license start date prior to September 3, 2019 will continue to work on both on Jira Server and Data Center until the license expires. To continue running the Server app, it is required to purchase a Data Center app license upon renewal.

- Open-source - Customers whose project is licensed under a license approved by the Open Source Initiative. Request open-source license from Atlassian support.
Migration Incentives
- Dual licensing - Data Center customers migrating to Cloud and purchasing Cloud annual license are eligible for a free extension of the Data Center license for up to 1 year. eazyBI will approve Dual Licenses for any Data Center size (even if <1000 users) and longer license periods if needed. To request Dual Licensing, please contact Atlassian Licensing Support to request a license or contact support@eazybi.com if you have any questions.
Cloud Migration Trial - eazyBI for Jira DC customers with active or expired eazyBI for Jira Data Center licenses migrating to a Cloud can Request a Cloud Migration Trial.
- If you have an active eazyBI for Jira DC license you can get an extended trial on the Cloud with trial expiration date aligned with the expiration date of the active DC license.
- If you have an expired eazyBI for Jira DC license you can get an extended 60-day trial.

User-Tier Upgrades
User tier upgrades to Data Center licenses are pro-rated through the license's current expiration date. For example, a Data Center license valid from 1-Jan through 1-Jan, and upgraded on 1-Sept, would only be billed for the period of 1-Sept through 1-Jan.
Refunds
eazyBI is "Paid by Atlassian" app. As such, eazyBI complies with Atlassian's Payment & Refund policy.
You can request a refund or exchange/upgrade of your commercial or academic license up to 30 days after the original date of purchase. After the 30-day period, standard pricing for upgrades will apply and exchanges/refunds will not be available. To request a refund/exchange within 30 days of payment, contact Atlassian's Customer Advocate Team.
