Dimensions

eazyBI imports this default set of dimensions:

Workspace

All imported workspaces.

Board

All imported boards are hierarchically grouped by their workspaces.

Group

A list of groups of items; they are hierarchically grouped by workspaces and boards.

Item

A list of items and subitems from all imported workspaces. Items and sub-items are hierarchically grouped by Workspace, Board, and Group levels in the standard hierarchy. 

This dimension can have two additional hierarchies: By Group aggregates items by groups (it is valuable if the same group names are used in several boards), By Subitem hierarchy organizes subitems by their parent items (if subitems are used).

Status

List of all statuses from imported items. Statuses are grouped by names (or colors if the name is not specified) and can be expanded to specific board statuses. Status column is defined in the import options.

Item Type

Current (last) item type. When used with measures representing change history, shows the item type at the time of change. 

Assignee

Users who are working on the item. Assignee column is defined in the import options.

Creator

Users who created (registered) items.

Logged by

Users who logged a time entry for items.

Transition Status

All statuses that appear in the status history log (the same statuses as in the Status dimension). Expand Status Name to Board Status for specific board statuses.

Transition

All individual transitions with names in the format “From status => To status”.

Transition Author

The user who performed the transition.

Time

Standard time dimension with Year / Quarter / Month / Day hierarchy and Weekly hierarchy with Year / Week / Day levels. 

There is an option to create custom hierarchies with the Add custom hierarchy. It is possible to create a Fiscal hierarchy and Multiple weeks hierarchies.

Week Day

Days of the week. The order of the days depends on the defined first day of the week in the import options.

Reporter Team

Assignee Team

Logged by Team

Corresponding monday.com user teams of reporters, assignees, or logged by users. If a user belongs to several monday.com teams, then the corresponding measure value will be included for all corresponding user teams in the user team dimension.

Delete members without data

You can delete members without data from the eazyBI cube for the following dimensions: Item Type, Status, Transition Status, and Transition.

It requires a data admin user role or higher to delete members without data.

Measures

A set of measures that are imported based on Item data works primarily with the Item and common dimensions, like Workspace, Group, Board, and Status.  

Items created

Measure counts items on a timeline based on the Item creation date. If Time dimension is not used, the measure counts the total number of items that match selected dimension members.

Items done

Measure counts items on a timeline based on the last date when the item was completed (marked as done). If the Time dimension is not used, counts the total number of items that match selected dimension members.

Items last updated

Measure counts items that match selected dimension members. If the Time dimension is used, then items last updated count items by the last update date and show the total in the corresponding period.

Subitems created

Subitems done

A total number of subitems (or done subitems) for parent items that match selected dimension members.

Use those measures in reports and calculations in case you need to apply filters on parent items only and then get the count of all their subitems; otherwise, use corresponding measures Items created and Issues done (they include values for all level items, parent and subitems, based on the report context).

Hours spent

Total of registered worklog hours on items matching the selected dimension members.  On the Time dimension grouped by the start date specified in the worklog. The Logged by dimension can be used to see hours spent by individual users.

You can Drill through worklogs to get a list of all worklog entries constituting particular Hours spent total value, with additional information: date of the worklog, item, user name, and logged hours for this entry. The list could be exported to a file.

Items with hours spent

Distinct count of items with any hours logged within the selected Time period.

Hours spent with subitems

Retrieve Hours spent values for parent level items, including their subitem values; the value always is zero for subitem level items.

Use those measures in reports and calculations in case you need to apply filters on parent items only; otherwise, use measure Hours spent (they include values for all level items, parent and subitems, based on the report context).

Transitions to status

How many times during the selected Time dimension period items have been transitioned to the status that is selected in Transition Status dimension (or only transitions that are selected in Transition dimension). Also, the first item status will be counted in this measure on item creation date.

If you would like to see a distinct (unique) count of items for these transitions, then use Transitions to status items count measure from the Distinct items count measure group.

Transitions from status

How many times during the selected Time dimension period items have been transitioned from the status that is selected in Transition Status dimension to any other status (or only transitions that are selected in Transition dimension)?

If you would like to see a distinct (unique) count of items for these transitions, then use Transitions from status items count measure from the Distinct items count measure group.

Days in transition status

Use this measure for individual items to show how many days the item has stayed in status from Transition status dimension. It is calculated when an item is transitioned from this status (when the Transitions from status measure is recorded) and will be shown on the Time dimension on the date when the transition from this status happened.

Use Average days in transition status calculated measure when you are analyzing the average days spent in status among many items.

Workdays in transition status

Similar to Days in transition status, only workdays are calculated according to Time dimension options.

Open items

Calculates a count of uncompleted items at the end of the corresponding Time dimension period (as Items created minus Items done since the beginning of the time until the end of the selected time period).

Average done days

Calculates the average done days of done items (counted in Items done) and are grouped by item done date on Time dimension. For each individual item, the measure shows its total done days (the duration between creation to done dates).
Hidden Total done days Measure, which returns a pre-calculated number of days from created to done dates, is used in the Average done day's formula.

Average done workdays

Similar to Average done days, just here, workdays are calculated according to Time dimension options.

Items history

How many items at the end of selected Time dimension period are

  • in status that is selected in Transition Status dimension (calculated as Transitions to status minus Transitions from status from the beginning of time until the end of the selected Time period);
  • or with a columns dimension member (with Imported changes) at the end of the selected Time period.

Average days in transition status

Average days that item stayed in status selected in Transition status dimension. It is calculated when an item is transitioned from this status (when the Transitions from status measure is recorded) and is shown on Time dimension on the date when the transition from this status happened.

Average workdays in transition status

Like average days in transition status, just here, workdays are calculated according to Time dimension options.

Transition to status first date

Shows the date and time when the first transition to the corresponding Transition Status (or the selected Transition) was performed.

Transition to status last date

Shows the date and time when the last transition to the corresponding Transition Status (or the selected Transition) was performed.

Transition from status first date

Shows the date and time when the first transition from the corresponding Transition Status (or the selected Transition) was performed.

Transition from status last date

Shows the date and time when the last transition from the corresponding Transition Status (or the selected Transition) was performed.

Distinct items count

Items created count

Items done count

Distinct measures can show a different result than previously described Items created and Items done measures in a case when some multi-value dimension with a multiple-member selection is put on pages (e.g. Board or workspace or multi-value columns). E.g., if multiple values are used on one column, and one item belongs to two of the selected values, then Items created value will be 2 while Items created count value will be 1 for this item.

Transitions to status items count

How many (unique) items have transitioned to selected status in Transition Status dimension (or only transitions that are selected in Transition dimension) during the period chosen in Time dimension.

The measure is located in Distinct items count measure group.

Transitions from status items count

How many (unique) items have transitioned from selected status in Transition Status dimension (or only transitions that are selected in Transition dimension) during the period chosen in Time dimension?

The measure is located in Distinct items count measure group.

Properties

Property should be used only together with the corresponding dimension members. All properties, starting with "Item...", can be used if items are selected in report rows (i.e., Item dimension Item level members). For example, the property "Item done date" would return the date when the item was sent to the status "Done" when the "Item" dimension is expanded at the item-level.

If the Item dimension is placed on rows and expanded to detailed items and these measures are placed on report columns, then details about issue creation, updated date, status last updated date, done date, and creator and status are displayed.

It can also be used if Item dimension detailed issues are placed in rows. Those properties are available when subitems are created for items.

All teams where the user (item creator, assignee, or user who logged hours) belongs. The property is available if the corresponding user dimension is used in the report.
